As AI and machine learning become more prevalent, questions are arising about the role of mathematics and traditional reasoning in today’s society. In this talk, professor Jeremy Avigad will discuss the importance of mathematical and symbolic reasoning in the age of AI and why society needs to be careful as it navigates the changes ahead.
